Bethenny Frankel, the 54-year-old reality TV personality, recently shared a “vulnerable” update about her personal life on TikTok, revealing that she is hesitant to start a new relationship.
In the video, Frankel explained that she’s not “actively afraid” to date but rather feels hesitant, comparing the feeling to getting food poisoning and being scared to eat the same food again. She noted that she’s been feeling this way for months since she stopped dating entirely.
Frankel described her attempts to re-enter the dating world as “dipping her foot in a cold pool.” She’ll start talking to someone, but then “run away” because she’s not ready to fully jump in. She added that she’s no longer even dipping her toe in and will wait until the “pool is warm enough.”
This update follows her most recent public relationship with businessman Tom Villante, which reportedly ended in late 2024. Prior to that, Frankel was engaged to Paul Bernon, a relationship that ended in May 2024. She was previously married to Jason Hoppy from 2010 to 2012, with whom she shares a daughter, and to Peter Sussman from 1996 to 1997.
