Former Pakistan captain and star cricketer Babar Azam is set to make his inaugural appearance in Australia’s premier T20 competition, the Big Bash League (BBL).
According to available details, the BBL franchise Sydney Sixers has pre-signed Babar Azam ahead of the upcoming player draft, officially announcing the news via their social media channels.
The BBL confirms that the Pakistani and global cricket superstar will make his debut in the tournament during the forthcoming 2024–25 season.
Each BBL team is permitted to pre-sign one player before the draft commences. This year’s Big Bash League is scheduled to take place between December and January.
