Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam, along with 10 other cricketers, will participate in a red-ball training session starting September 9 in Lahore. According to details, the training camp will continue until September 28 and will also feature Abdullah Shafique and Kamran Ghulam.
Azhar Mahmood, the interim red-ball coach for the national team, will oversee the training of the Test cricketers.
Meanwhile, cricket fans in Pakistan can look forward to an exciting season as the South Africa cricket team is set to tour the country later this year for a full series, including two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20 Internationals.
The tour will conclude with a three-match ODI series, scheduled to be held from November 4 to 8 in Faisalabad. This will mark a historic moment as Faisalabad hosts a One Day International match after a 17-year gap, adding a sense of nostalgia for local fans who are eager to see international cricket return to their city.
