Pakistan assistant coach Azhar Mahmood has expressed his interest in serving the national team as head coach.
Sources revealed that the former all-rounder will submit an application for the head coach position. Mahmood, who has been serving the Green Shirts as their assistant coach, had a two-year agreement with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Sources familiar with the matter indicated that Mahmood is now looking to take on the role of head coach for the Pakistan national cricket team.
It is important to note that the PCB had invited applications for the head coach position with a deadline of May 4th.
