The Senate chairman, who’s serving as the acting president in the absence of Asif Ali Zardari, made these remarks on Saturday while talking to reporters at his residence. KARACHI: An special flight chartered by the Sindh government brought another batch of 180 stranded students from Kyrgyzstan on Saturday, who belonged to different parts of the country. Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, Sindh ministers Sharjeel Memon and Nasir Hussain Shah and deputy mayor Salman Murad received the students. Veteran TV and stage actor Talat Hussain died in Karachi on Sunday at the age of 83. Hussain, born on Sept 18, 1940, passed away after a prolonged illness, state broadcaster PTV said in a post on social media platform X. A Pakistan Army captain and a soldier were martyred on Sunday while five terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Peshawar district’s Hassan Khel area, the military’s media wing said.
