The footage captures the moment when one of the cyclists, Tom Geppert, gets run over before the driver speeds away. For the better part of a decade, Feed-a-Hero volunteers have gathered around food, all thanks to a humble idea Jim Searles had on a Christmas long ago. “In 2013, me and my kids fed six firefighters in Denton, Texas, and my kids said, ‘Well, that was kind of cool. HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — An investigation is underway after a man’s body was found on the side of the road in north Houston on Tuesday night. The Houston Police Department said the victim’s body was discovered on Lynnfield Street at about 11 p.m. Officers initially thought the man was hit by a car after a person reported seeing the victim, believed to be in his 40s, lying on the roadway.
