Grand Prairie police are investigating a single-car crash that left two men dead Friday night. The driver of an Acura sedan ran off the road about 9:40 p.m. Friday in the 3700 block of East Main Street, near East Jefferson Street, and crashed into a drainage ditch, police said. Grand Prairie firefighters extricated two men from the car and took them to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Their identities have not been released. Police are investigating why the car ran off the road.

Cedar Hill police are investigating after a motorist died after crashing into a salon Saturday morning. The crash occurred about just before 9 a.m. at the Great Clips in the 400 block of FM1382, near Belt Line Road. When officers arrived, they found that a car had driven through the building and the driver was unresponsive. The driver, who has not been identified, was later pronounced dead, police said. An 18-year-old man was arrested last weekend after police say he tried to pull over a Dallas police officer driving an unmarked car on North Central Expressway. Alexis Estrada Lopez faces one felony count of impersonating a public servant. His attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Five juveniles were taken into custody Saturday night after a fight broke out at The Parks Mall at Arlington. Police said the fight broke out among about 20 to 30 young people at the mall in the 3800 block of South Cooper Street. No injuries were reported. HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Two people were killed in a head-on, wrong-way crash on the Westpark Tollway eastbound before Fondren on Saturday morning. According to Kevin Hubbard with Harris County Constable Precinct 5, authorities received a call at about 4:49 a.m. about a wrong-way driver in a Chevy Equinox going westbound in the eastbound lanes.
