A man was fatally shot Wednesday morning at an apartment complex in Pleasant Grove, Dallas police said. Officers were called about 11:10 a.m. to the 8100 block of Barclay Street at Buckner Boulevard. Police said they found 26-year-old Le Billie Tre Nell Hunter on the ground of the parking lot with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital and died from his injuries, police said. Dallas County commissioners debated the future of the pandemic response as case numbers and hospitalizations driven by the COVID-19 omicron variant continued to peak.
