A man was fatally shot Wednesday morning at an apartment complex in Pleasant Grove, Dallas police said. Officers were called about 11:10 a.m. to the 8100 block of Barclay Street at Buckner Boulevard. Police said they found 26-year-old Le Billie Tre Nell Hunter on the ground of the parking lot with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital and died from his injuries, police said. Police said an investigation into the shooting was ongoing. Dallas County commissioners debated the future of the pandemic response as case numbers and hospitalizations driven by the COVID-19 omicron variant continued to peak.
