HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A man has been hospitalized after authorities said he was possibly shot by a family member in north Harris County. The shooting happened Monday at about 2 p.m. in the 500 block of Cypress Station near the North Freeway, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. Gonzalez said the man, who was shot by a possible family member, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. At this time, it’s unclear what led to the shooting. HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A man has died after returning into a burning home in north Houston, and authorities want to warn others in an effort to save lives. The fire happened at about 2 p.m. Monday near Aldine Mail Route. According to the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office, the 68-year-old resident and his wife got out of the burning house safely, but then the man went back inside. HOUSTON (KTRK) — A gunman accused of shooting a Cracker Barrel employee to death over the weekend in what deputies call an attempted robbery is still at large, according to authorities. Family members identified the manager killed as 59-year-old Robin Baucom. She worked at the Cracker Barrel on the North Freeway and Airtex Drive for 34 years. On Monday, Houston police said officers were called out to a shooting in progress the 5900 block of Selinsky Road at about 7 p.m. At the scene, a vehicle pulled over after seeing police lights.
