Two teens were found shot Monday morning at a North Richland Hills home, police said. Anthony Aponte, 17, was pronounced dead at the home and Isaiah Manuel Aponte, 19, was taken to an area hospital where he died, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. A lawsuit filed Monday against a Lake Worth police officer accuses the officer of using excessive deadly force against a man who was running away. According to court records and video footage, a Lake Worth Police Department-issued SUV struck Dustin Bates of Denton County in November 2020. Bates was not armed, according to the lawsuit.
