Dallas police arrested a 24-year-old man who is suspected of fatally shooting his girlfriend’s stepfather during an argument in a Red Bird apartment earlier this month, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit obtained Monday. Rodger Christopher Harris was booked into the Dallas County jail Wednesday on a charge of murder in the slaying of Mikel Ford, a 47-year-old man found Jan. 13 in the 8000 block of West Virginia Drive, near West Wheatland Road and U.S. Highway 67. HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Charges have been filed against a suspect who led Houston police officers on a 20-minute vehicle pursuit and was then wounded in an officer-involved shooting on Sunday late afternoon. Arthur Lee McShan is charged with a felony of evading in a motor vehicle. Originally, Houston police said the 40-year-old opened fire at officers before they fired back at McShan.
