A sunny and mild pattern is in place across North Texas for the next several days. While the typical February cold remains bottled up well to the north, highs will be in the 60s for several days. A 15-year-old boy was critically wounded in a shooting in Garland on Tuesday afternoon. Officers were called about 1 p.m. to the scene of a shooting in the 300 block of East Vista Drive, near South First Street, and found the teenager with a gunshot wound. HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A 9-year-old was shot in the head in what police are calling a road rage incident in southwest Houston. The shooting happened Tuesday night in the 7300 block of Fondren, near the Southwest Freeway. Police said someone in a truck fired shots at a family in a minivan. The driver of the van was able to pull over at a Shell gas station on Fondren. From there, paramedics took the child to Texas Children’s Hospital. The child’s condition was not immediately known.
