HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — On Tuesday, Harris County sommissioners passed budgets for the short fiscal year of 2022 and fiscal year 2023. After discussion, they ultimately passed the budgets without making proposed cuts in funding to some community organizations. HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A 9-year-old was shot in the head in an apparent road rage incident Tuesday night in southwest Houston. Ashanti Grant, who is a fourth grader at Savannah Lakes Elementary in Brazoria County, remains in critical condition. “You’re just numb. HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A man is expected to survive after police said he was injured in a road rage shooting in north Houston. The shooting happened Wednesday in the 700 block of TC Jester. At the scene, police said the victim and the suspect got into some sort of argument on I-10 when the suspect opened fire and drove off. No additional information on the suspect was released. HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The man at the center of attention following a bizarre road rage video on the North Freeway has been sentenced to 45 days in jail. Stephen Sahr, 41, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of deadly conduct for the October 2021 incident. The discovery of the Omicron variant in white-tailed deer in New York has raised concerns that the species, numbering 30 million in the United States, could become hosts of a new coronavirus strain, a lead researcher said on Tuesday. PESHAWAR: The police on Wednesday foiled a bid to supply dead animals’ meat to Charsaddah from Peshawar, KP.  A team of Food Safety Authority KP intercepted a vehicle carrying meat of dead animals at Toll Plaza, Peshawar Motorway.
