A Dallas firefighter is in stable condition after being hurt Friday afternoon battling a 2-alarm fire at a rural church. The fire at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church on Haymarket Road was first reported at 12:32 p.m. Firefighters with Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived at 12:39 p.m. and reported heavy smoke and fire coming from the roof. Texas’s biggest frozen holiday attraction, ICE!, is returning to Grapevine for the holiday season. The annual ice sculpture exhibit will feature walk-through displays, more than 10 immersive scenes, six thrilling two-story tall ice slides, and many photo opportunities. The Glendale swimming pool opened Thursday at noon. There wasn’t a line waiting to get but people who live in the community say the pool is important to them. “I was here when they originally put the pool here,” Glendale neighbor Kenneth Blair said. The search continues for one of four suspects in a stolen truck who are accused of ramming Dallas police cars leading to an officer-involved shooting Thursday where police ended up catching a double murder suspect. Deantae Moore, 19, is one of three men arrested in the incident.
