On Friday, Palestinian sources reported that Israeli airstrikes on two residential homes in central and southern Gaza resulted in the deaths of at least 10 Palestinians. The strikes targeted a house west of the Nuseirat refugee camp, killing five individuals and leaving several others trapped under the rubble, according to medical teams.
In a separate incident in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, another airstrike claimed the lives of five more people and injured several others. The Palestinian Civil Defense confirmed the casualties and noted that recovery efforts are still ongoing.
The Israeli military has not yet commented on these airstrikes.
The escalating Israeli offensive in Gaza has brought the Palestinian death toll to 40,878, as reported by health officials in Gaza. The intensity of Israeli airstrikes has increased, including attacks on areas designated as “humanitarian safe zones” by the Israeli military.
Gaza, under blockade, is facing severe shortages of food, water, and medical supplies, raising concerns of a worsening humanitarian crisis.
