Senior Pakistani actress Asma Abbas recently expressed her views on mothers who participate in dramas, suggesting that some do so to gain attention. During her appearance on ARY’s morning show to promote her drama *Baby Bhaji*, she opened up about her concerns regarding domestic issues depicted in such shows.
Asma stated that when she observes mothers acting out dramas at home, she often wonders if such scenarios truly occur in real life. She humorously remarked that after watching these mothers, she tells her daughters-in-law that they should be grateful she isn’t always around, as she values order and cleanliness at home but doesn’t impose strictness on them.
Sharing personal news, Asma announced that she will soon be stepping back from her responsibilities as her son, Ahmed Abbas, is getting married later this year. With a lighthearted tone, she mentioned that she plans to apply what she learned from her eldest daughter-in-law to her younger one.
She continued, advising her younger daughter-in-law that when she is no longer there, it will be up to her to manage household matters.
In her message to mothers, Asma urged those who manipulate their children’s emotions and undermine their daughters-in-law to refrain from causing distress. She emphasized that children become upset when they see their mothers in tears, highlighting the emotional impact such behavior can have.
