Pakistan’s star javelin thrower, Arshad Nadeem, has secured his spot in the final of the World Athletics Championships javelin throw event. He qualified with an impressive throw of 85.28 meters on his third and final attempt. His previous throws measured 76.99 meters and 74.17 meters, respectively.
Earlier, India’s Neeraj Chopra had also qualified for the final from a separate group, achieving a throw of 84.85 meters. Arshad Nadeem and Neeraj Chopra are competing in different groups, though there are two Indian athletes in Nadeem’s group. The final round is scheduled to take place on Thursday.
