Pakistan’s prominent javelin thrower, Arshad Nadeem, has dedicated his recent gold medal victory at the Asian Athletics Championship in Gumi, South Korea, to the people of Pakistan. He attributed his success to the nation’s prayers and the blessings of Allah Almighty.
In an exclusive interview with Samaa TV following his remarkable 86.40-meter throw that secured him the top spot, Arshad stated: “In any sport, hard work is necessary. But it is Allah Almighty who ultimately gives success.”
The Olympic medalist, who made his return to international competition for the first time since his record-breaking throw at the Paris 2024 Olympics, extended his gratitude to the Punjab Sports Board and the national coaching staff for their unwavering support.
“I will give the credit for this success to the entire Pakistani nation. I am grateful to the entire nation for their prayers and support. No matter how much I thank Allah Almighty, it will never be enough,” he expressed.
Addressing the country’s youth, the 28-year-old athlete urged young Pakistanis to remain steadfast in their commitment to hard work and perseverance. “My message to the youth is simple — work hard, and Allah will support you,” he advised.
