The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle has apprehended a suspect, Haider Saeed, for disseminating hate speech and negative propaganda on social media during the Jaffar Express incident.
According to the FIA, the accused was conducting a harmful campaign against state institutions, sharing provocative content, and providing online support to banned organizations. Digital evidence has been confiscated, and a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).
Authorities report that Haider Saeed instigated public disorder and falsely asserted that over 200 soldiers were killed in the Bolan attack. He was arrested during a raid in Bani Gala, and his social media accounts are under investigation.
The suspect faces charges under Sections 9 and 10 of PECA, which pertain to cyber terrorism and inciting animosity against the state. Investigations are currently underway.
