Apple has officially announced its new iPhone 17 series, which includes four models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Pre-orders began on Friday, and the phones will be available starting on September 19.
iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air: Lighter, Thinner, and Faster
The base iPhone 17 model features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display and is powered by Apple’s A19 chip. It has a dual-camera system with a 48-megapixel Fusion Main and a 48-megapixel Ultra Wide lens, offering .5x, 1x, and 2x optical zoom. Its 3,692 mAh battery ensures great all-day performance.
The new iPhone 17 Air is slightly larger at 6.5 inches but is slimmer and lighter, weighing just 165 grams. It runs on the A19 Pro chip for faster performance. The Air has a single 48-megapixel Fusion Main camera with 1x and 2x zoom and a 3,149 mAh battery.

The iPhone 17 Pro has a 6.3-inch display, weighs 206 grams, and includes a 4,262 mAh battery. The larger Pro Max features a 6.9-inch display, weighs 233 grams, and has a 5,088 mAh battery for longer use.
