Apple Launches M4 MacBook Air with AI Features, Lower Starting Price

Apple has unveiled its new MacBook Air models, powered by the M4 chip and enhanced with AI capabilities, at a reduced starting price. The 13-inch model begins at $999, and the 15-inch at $1,199, with pre-orders available now and in-store sales starting March 12th. Equipped with Apple Intelligence, the laptops offer AI features like email composition and photo editing, integrating ChatGPT access. Market analysts predict the 13-inch model will cost around 280,000-300,000 PKR in Pakistan, and the 15-inch around 340,000-360,000 PKR. Apple aims to make powerful technology more accessible, aligning with the expected AI-driven PC market recovery. The company also introduced the M3 Ultra processor for the Mac Studio, targeting AI developers and media professionals, starting at $1,999. The Mac Studio with M3 Ultra can run large language models on-device, with configurations including up to 96GB of memory. Apple is emphasizing AI capabilities and competitive pricing, though Pakistani consumers face higher prices due to import duties. The company continues to expand its AI features globally.
