HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Another chance for some rain this across SE Texas today, with a 40% chance for Houston and higher rain chances along the coast. The best chance of rain comes in the mid-to-late afternoon.
We’ll be watching disturbances blowing in from the north that will interact with tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. Any storm that pops up could produce gusty winds over 40 mph and frequent lightning. With showers and storms blossoming in the early afternoon, Houston will likely dodge hitting 100 degrees one more day before it really warms up this weekend.
