NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES – Sister Wives star Janelle Brown has shared her heartfelt plans to honor her late son Garrison while embarking on a fresh start at her new 156-acre farm in North Carolina.
The emotional revelation came during the first episode of Sister Wives season 20, which aired on Sunday, September 28. Janelle, 56, bought the expansive property with her daughter Maddie and son-in-law Caleb Brush.
Honoring ‘Uncle Bob’
In the episode, Janelle’s erstwhile sister wife Christine Brown visited the North Carolina property with her husband David Woolley to celebrate the purchase. While looking at an aerial map of the farm, Maddie shared their building plans.
Christine pointed to a part of the map and asked, “What are you going to call that road?” Maddie replied, “Caleb said, ‘Why don’t we call it Bob Blvd.’”
In a confessional, Christine explained the emotional significance: Garrison’s first name was Robert, and he was affectionately known to the family as “Uncle Bob.” The group immediately agreed it was a perfect way to remember him.
The Memorial Garden
The scene transitioned to a confessional clip of Janelle sharing their wider plans for a memorial on the site to honor Garrison, who tragically died by suicide on March 5, 2024.
“Garrison’s always in our thoughts, right? And we will definitely, probably have a part of the flower garden that’s really more of a memorial to him and to Bob’s Floral, his Hawaiian shirt shop,” the mother of six shared, emphasizing that the tribute will permanently embed his memory into their new home.
