Alia Bhatt, a renowned Indian actress, has recently made intriguing revelations about her wedding attire. On 14th April 2022, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in a simple ceremony at their home, “Wasta”, in Mumbai. For this special occasion, Alia Bhatt wore an exquisite off-white and gold organza saree designed by the renowned designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, which he aptly named “Chaai Dp White”. In an interview with Vogue magazine, Alia Bhatt revealed that she decided to wear a light-colored saree instead of the traditional red attire on her wedding day because she wanted to feel relaxed and confident.
As per Alia Bhatt, she chose to wear the saree because it made her feel the most relaxed. In her first conversation with Sabyasachi, she had made it clear that she wanted to wear a saree on her wedding day and her top priority was to feel serene. When discussing the color, Alia Bhatt expressed her desire for a white and gold saree, which Sabyasachi suggested should be an organza saree, despite being simple, it was created in a majestic manner. Alia Bhatt also revealed that she had a special train attached to her saree, which featured the date of her wedding and a personal and secretive phrase “Mrs. Hysteria,” which only she and Ranbir Kapoor knew.
Regarding jewelry, Alia Bhatt wore a diamond set designed by Sabyasachi, which included a large necklace, large jhoomkas, and a maang tikka.
