Noted singer Ali Zafar will sing the anthem for the forthcoming tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
According to details, Zafar has prepared the composition for the anthem of the domestic marquee tournament.
The PSL 10 anthem will be released soon.
The premium tournament will kick off from April 11, and it will be the first time that the PSL will clash with the Indian Premier League (IPL).
It is pertinent to note that Islamabad United clinched the PSL title in 2024.
First Season
Zafar sang the anthem, “Ab Khel Ke Dikha” for the inaugural edition of the PSL back in 2016.
Second Season
The second season featured Zafar’s voice again, with the anthem “Ab Khel Jamay Ga”.
Third Season
Zafar sang another anthem for the third season, “Dil Se Jaan Laga De”.
Fourth Season
It was the first time in the history of the PSL that musicians other than Zafar sang an anthem, “Khel Deewano Ka” for the domestic marquee tournament. Fawad Khan and Young Desi sang the anthem for PSL 2019.
Fifth Season
The fifth season was more than a celebration, as it was the first time in the history of the PSL that the entire tournament was held in Pakistan. However, the coronavirus pandemic interrupted the tournament. “Tayyar Hain” was sung by veteran artists Arif Lohar, Ali Azmat, and Haroon. This anthem also featured the voice of Asim Azhar.
Sixth Season
The anthem of the sixth edition of the tournament featured renowned singers Naseebo Lal, Young Stunners, and Aima Baig. The song “Groove Mera” received a mixed response from fans.
Seventh Season
Atif Aslam and Aima Baig sang the seventh edition of PSL 2022, titled “Agay Dekh”.
Eighth Season
Asim Azhar, Shae Gill, and Faris Shafi sang the anthem “Sab Sitaray Humaray” for the eighth edition of the PSL.
Ninth Season
Ali Zafar and Aima Baig sang the anthem “Khul Ke Khel” for the ninth edition of the PSL.
