Al-Noor International’s Global Mushaira 2025 Revolutionary Poetry, Tearful Eyes Imran Pratapgarhi Won Hearts

Dallas: The renowned literary organization Al-Noor International hosted the Global Mushaira 2025, titled “An Evening of Peace and Unity.” This special event was held in Plano. Internationally acclaimed poets participated in the program, including the special guest poet from India Member of Lok Sabha, renowned parliamentarian, and revolutionary resistance poet Imran Pratapgarhi. Other distinguished guest poets included Lata Haya from India and Suhail Zarrar from London.

The Mushaira was presided over by Iftikhar Shareef, while the guests of honor included Akram Sayed, Dr. Shamsa Qureshi, and S.K. Mittal. The event was elegantly hosted by Shazia Khan and Noor Amrohavi. Among the other participating local poets were Sheikh Hameed, Pramod Rajput, Shah Alam Asar, Dr. Shamsa Qureshi, Sheikh Ejaz, Naheed Shaad, Shah Ghazali, Dr. Noor Amrohavi, Masood Qazi, Aman Khan Dil, and Tariq Hashmi.
The evening was truly owned by Imran Pratapgarhi, who captivated the audience with his powerful revolutionary and resistance poetry. Through his unique style, he vividly portrayed the struggles, suffering, and helplessness of Muslims bringing many in the audience to tears. A profound silence enveloped the hall during his performance. From Red Fort to the Palestinian people and other oppressed communities, his poetry painted such a powerful image that the entire gathering was spellbound by the magic of his words.
During the event, several prominent personalities were honored with portrait-style awards in recognition of their services. A dinner reception featuring elaborate cuisine was held beforehand in honor of all the guests.
This event stood as a meaningful step towards promoting cultural harmony and strengthening interfaith dialogue. Meanwhile, the tradition of presenting awards continued during the event, where notable individuals from various walks of life were recognized for their outstanding contributions. The founder of the organization, Noor Amrohavi, presented an award to renowned journalist and community leader Raja Zahid Khanzada in recognition of his journalistic and literary services. Imran Pratapgarhi received his award from Shaukat Mohammad and Shah Alam Asar. Lata Haya was awarded by Shazia Khan and Sujata Rajput. Suhail Zarrarreceived his award from S.K. Mittal and A.G. Chini. Dr. Shamsa Qureshi was honored by Shazia Khan and Sujata Rajput. Akram Sayed was awarded by Dr. Noor Amrohavi and Pramod Rajput. Iftikhar Shareef received his award from Dr. Noor Amrohavi and Shah Alam Asar. S.K. Mittal was presented his award by Sheikh Ejaz and Shaukat Mohammad. Nabi Kalwar was honored by A.G. Chini and Pramod Rajput. Pramod Rajput was awarded by Dr. Noor Amrohavi, while Shazia Khan received her award from Lata Haya. Furthermore, Amir Mirza invited Pramod Rajput to the stage, who then called upon Imran Pratapgarhi to present an award to the distinguished community leader Mr. Jahangir in recognition of his continuous support for community events.
