After a decade in the position, the man in charge of Google’s (GOOGL.O) operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia has resigned, according to Reuters.
In 2007, Matt Brittin joined the tech giant as head of operations for the UK and Ireland. In 2014, he became vice president of northern and central Europe and EMEA president.
Brittin worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Co. for several years before joining Google. He also held the position of commercial director for Trinity Mirror, which later changed its name to Reach PLC.
