Ahead of the Champions Trophy, set to commence on February 19, the Afghanistan cricket team arrived in Karachi on Saturday to face New Zealand in a warm-up match.
According to details, Afghanistan and New Zealand will clash tomorrow in the warm-up after Hashmatullah Shahidi’s side completes their outing against Pakistan Shaheens at the revamped Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Afghanistan, making their debut appearance in the Champions Trophy, will begin their campaign against South Africa at Karachi Stadium on February 21.
Furthermore, Afghanistan will enter the Champions Trophy with strong momentum, having recently secured a 2-1 ODI series victory over South Africa in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
