Aaron Phypers, estranged husband of Denise Richards, has made serious allegations against the actress following a heated encounter at his family home on August 3, 2025. According to People Magazine, Phypers told emergency dispatchers that he “fears for his parents” after Richards unexpectedly appeared at his property.
Based on police dispatch audio, Phypers contacted the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department when Richards arrived unannounced amidst their ongoing divorce proceedings. While Richards’ attorney, Brett Berman, stated that she was only there to retrieve her dogs after Phypers had allegedly euthanized one of her pets without her consent, an insider close to Phypers called this claim “100 percent, absolutely false,” adding that Richards was “screaming and banging on the door.”
Phypers also issued a statement, saying, “Absolutely false, not true on both accusations.” He continued, “Denise’s attorney has consistently struck out in pursuit of the truth. There is a difference between telling the truth and trying to protect your client.” Phypers concluded with a pointed message, “Having the title of attorney or being a celebrity does not put you above the law. It does not give you the right to humiliate others for the sake of your interests. Both of these actions have been readily apparent here in the last couple of weeks.”
This incident follows a temporary restraining order Richards was granted against Phypers in July, citing alleged domestic violence. Phypers has denied all abuse allegations.
