According to The Times of Israel, the suggestion was raised by Israeli defense officials during a closed-door briefing to the Knesset’s (Israeli parliament’s) Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee last week. In this private session, officials allegedly discussed the formation of a multinational force to manage stability in Gaza following a projected “two-year war.”
The report claims that this force could include soldiers from Indonesia, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan. According to the newspaper, Indonesia has already offered to send troops for such a mission, and Azerbaijan has also expressed its willingness to contribute soldiers.
However, the report clearly stated that any potential inclusion of Pakistani troops has not been officially announced or publicly mentioned. This claim remains based entirely on the information from the confidential defense briefing given to the lawmakers.
