A Mother-Daughter Beauty Bond

Michelle Monaghan admires her 16-year-old daughter’s makeup artistry. The 48-year-old actress was at an event in NYC, celebrating her role as U Beauty’s inaugural brand ambassador, when the press conversation shifted to her personal makeup. “The White Lotus” star expressed, according to People Magazine, regarding her teenage daughter Willow, “She applies makeup exquisitely. She’s incredibly talented. So, when I have an event or something, I’ll sit down, and she’ll do my makeup.” Monaghan disclosed that the makeup routine not only assists them but also strengthens their mother-daughter connection. “Being so close to her face, having her gaze at me with such intensity, and being so present with me, it almost brings me to tears,” she shared with the publication. The “Best of Me” star revealed her surprise when her own mother requested her to do her makeup for a wedding. “I thought, ‘Wow, I’m asking Willow to do my makeup. My mother’s asking me to do her makeup.’ It’s such an intimate, beautiful experience,” Monaghan conveyed, describing it as a “full-circle moment.” The actress is a mother to Willow and a 10-year-old son, Tommy, with her husband, Peter White.
