The United States President Donald Trump has made it clear that Lebanon will not be a part of the Middle East peace deal. In a statement, Trump mentioned that the reason behind excluding Lebanon from the agreement is the Hezbollah factor. The Lebanese issue will be handled separately, he added.
This announcement comes after Trump’s previous statement in an interview with an American newspaper, where he mentioned that talks on the peace deal will begin soon with Iran. Trump stated that the US will work closely with Iran, discussing tariffs and sanctions with the country. He emphasized that the US has decided on the following regarding Iran: a change will be made to the effective system of government in the country, uranium enrichment will not take place in Iran, and the US and Iran will work together to remove all nuclear waste buried in the ground.
Trump further stated that this issue has been under strict satellite surveillance, with many points already agreed upon in 15 key points.
According to Arab media, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman have not reported any attacks today.
