In a significant development, Turkey has called for the respect of the ceasefire agreement between the United States, Israel, and Iran. The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Turkey will fully support the talks in Islamabad. The ministry emphasized the need for full compliance with the ceasefire agreement, with all parties adhering to the terms of the agreement. Prior to this, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs had suggested that the Strait of Hormuz should be reopened, hoping that the ceasefire would lead to a comprehensive and lasting peace in the region.
French President Emmanuel Macron also emphasized the need for full respect of the ceasefire agreement’s conditions in the region. Meanwhile, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim stressed the importance of establishing a lasting peace in the region. He proposed transforming Iran’s 10-point plan into a comprehensive peace agreement, one that will not only benefit Iran but also stabilize Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen. Macron also stated that the region needs full respect of the ceasefire agreement’s conditions, and that the US-Iran ceasefire declaration is a positive step. However, Lebanon’s situation remains volatile, and the US and Israel should include Lebanon in the agreement.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun announced that direct talks with Israel have begun. Russian company Rosatom will withdraw its personnel from the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran. According to Arab media, the Russian nuclear company stated that it will not withdraw its personnel despite the ceasefire.
