According to the police, a 39-year-old Thai citizen was arrested in the central province of Ayutthaya when he was stopped at a petrol pump. During a search of the vehicle, 900 kilograms of ketamine and 700 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine were found hidden beneath the cabbage baskets. The driver, who was arrested, confessed that he was paid 100,000 Thai baht (approximately $3,000 USD) to transport the narcotics.
