The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has successfully defended its sovereignty and national pride amidst the ongoing conflict, according to Anwar Gargash, the UAE’s advisor to the President. Gargash emphasized that the country’s developmental achievements remained intact despite enemy aggression, and the state’s stability was not affected. He stated that the UAE is fully prepared to tackle the complexities and changing dynamics of the region. Gargash also highlighted that the UAE’s leadership will continue to play a strong and effective role in shaping the future.
Pakistan’s Information Minister, Ataullah Tarrar, expressed that the country’s mediatory role has been recognized globally, and the recent ceasefire announcement and its swift implementation is a significant achievement. Gargash also mentioned that the UAE’s model, built on power, stability, and resilience, will become even stronger in the coming times and will play a vital role in promoting peace and development in the region.
US President Donald Trump announced that direct negotiations with Iran will begin soon, but it is possible that Iran may not participate in talks due to security reasons. The global market witnessed a decrease in crude oil prices, with a 21% drop in Brent crude oil prices in the London international market.

The UAE announced that its air defense system had destroyed 17 ballistic missiles. According to the UAE Ministry of Defense, Iran had launched 35 drones against the UAE. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi emphasized that complete implementation of the ceasefire agreement is essential, without any provocation or sabotage.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky welcomed the ceasefire agreement and expressed readiness to negotiate a ceasefire with Russia. Maritime activities in the Strait of Hormuz have decreased significantly since the ceasefire agreement was announced. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that ceasefire violations are affecting the spirit of peace and reconciliation.
In a separate development, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian had a telephone conversation with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Staff, General Syed Asim Munir.
