The Lahore High Court has dismissed a plea against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s acquittal in the money laundering case. The high court observed that the applicant, a private person, had challenged the acquittal of Sharif in the money laundering case, but the applicant was not a party to the case. The court also stated that the special central court’s decision can be challenged by the public prosecutor or the federal government in a higher court.
In a separate development, the federal government has decided to launch a large-scale revolutionary program for the people of Sindh, particularly the youth, students, and unemployed graduates.
