A tragic road accident occurred in Sindh’s Shadadpur, where a passenger van collided with a tractor-trailer, resulting in the loss of three lives. According to the police, the deceased included two women. Twelve people were injured in the incident and were shifted to the Shadadpur Tehsil Hospital. Among the injured, three are in critical condition.
The tractor-trailer, which was traveling at high speed, overturned near the Wazirabad Nehr in Gujranwala, a city in Punjab. The passenger van, which was traveling from Sajawal to Shadadpur, was involved in the accident.
The police have stated that the accident occurred due to excessive speed. In a separate development, Pakistan has destroyed 286 Afghan Taliban regime checkpoints and taken control of 44 others, as well as destroying tanks, armored vehicles, and drones. In response to the crisis, the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched the Ehsaas Fuel Support Program.
