Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has filed multiple petitions in the Islamabad High Court, which include a case related to a 190 million pounds lawsuit and a case related to the Toshakhana case. The petitions have raised significant legal issues, including a request for an urgent hearing to discuss legal consultation with his lawyer regarding the 190 million pounds case.
According to the petition, Imran Khan has not been able to meet with his lawyer for legal consultation since December 20, 2025, and has been deprived of legal access for approximately 3 months and 12 days. The petition also states that the appeal against the sentence has been pending since March 19, 2025, with 16 hearings already held, and therefore, the court should issue an order for an urgent meeting with the lawyer to prepare for the appeal.
In another development, Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have filed separate petitions to expedite the hearing of their appeals in the Toshakhana case. The petition states that the sentences were pronounced on January 31, 2024, but the appeals are still pending in the Islamabad High Court and have not yet been scheduled for hearing.
