The Pakistan Railways has suspended train services from Quetta to the rest of the country, effective today. According to railway officials, the Jaffer Express bound for Peshawar will not operate today. The suspension of train services is attributed to the ongoing maintenance of the railway track. Yesterday, train services from Quetta to the rest of the country were also suspended for a day due to technical issues.
In a separate development, the Jaffer Express from Peshawar to Quetta will be diverted to Jacobabad. However, the passenger trains to Bolan and Chaman remain suspended.
