Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar, has confirmed hosting a diplomatic meeting in Islamabad with Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt. In an exclusive interview with Geo News, he stated that the meeting between the Foreign Ministers of these countries will take place in Islamabad, while they will also meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif the next day. According to Dar, the meeting was originally scheduled to take place in Turkey, but due to his busy schedule, he invited his counterparts to meet in Islamabad.
Dar expressed that they are working towards resolving the conflict with sincerity and good intentions. He added that all friendly countries are providing full cooperation, and negotiations with Iran are ongoing, with participants avoiding media interactions due to the ongoing negotiations.
