Pakistani music legend Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has expressed his views that Pakistan does not lack talent in the music industry, it’s just a matter of coming forward. During a discussion at the British Parliament on the launch of his Bengali song, Khan performed with British artist Rajah Kassim and singer Robaet Jahan. The song’s lyrics are “Tamim Amor Prem Pisha”. The event was attended by notable figures including Lord Tariq Ahmed, Rath Kadeberi MP, Afzal Khan MP, Adam Patel MP, Afsana Begum MP, Birons al Din, Birons Noshin Mubarak, and many others, who praised Khan’s exceptional talent.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan shared that performing in Bangladesh was an exhilarating experience, and he always feels a deep connection there. When asked about his recent performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London, he expressed that it was a spectacular show, and the audience responded enthusiastically to his songs, especially “Sanson ki Mala”, “Jhule Jhule Lal”, and “Dam Mast Qalandar”.
The singer also expressed his gratitude for receiving an award at the British Parliament, which he believes is a result of his parents’ blessings and the hard work of his team. Shah Zaman Khan, Rahat’s son, also shared his feelings on winning an award and expressed that it is a matter of great pride for him.
