Lahore, Pakistan – In a shocking incident, thieves broke into a house in the Defense A area of Lahore, stealing valuables, jewelry, and electronics worth over Rs. 19 crore. According to the FIR, the owner of the house had stepped out with his family for Sehri when the thieves gained entry into the house.
The FIR states that when the family returned home, they found the thieves inside, who held them hostage at gunpoint. The thieves then looted the house, making off with valuables, jewelry, and electronics worth over Rs. 19 crore.
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Information, Fawad Chaudhry, has stated that the Pakistan Army has destroyed the technical support and equipment stored in Kandahar. The Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) has also commented on the meeting between President Asif Ali Zardari and MQM chief Khalid Mahmood Khan.
The Pakistan Airport Authority (PIA) has announced that flight operations at Islamabad Airport will be suspended for two hours on Tuesday. A notification has also been issued in this regard.
