The city and its outskirts saw a joint operation by the OGRA (Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority) and the district administration to raid petrol pumps involved in illegal mixing and dumping. Executive Director OGRA revealed that 48,000 liters of petrol-filled tanker was taken into custody, which was hidden in Bahawalpur, while one petrol pump was sealed.
In Quetta, a government petrol pump was sealed. Two petrol agencies were sealed on Sama Satta Road, while an LPG plant was sealed for selling LPG at exorbitant rates, where LPG was being sold at 35 to 50 rupees per kilo more. Executive Director OGRA also stated that one boulder filled with LPG was also taken into custody.
