Pakistan’s all-rounder, Hussain Talat, has been injured during the second One Day International match against Bangladesh. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Hussain Talat’s left shoulder dislocated while he was fielding during the match. After suffering the injury, Hussain Talat was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, and it may take him 12-14 weeks to recover and return to cricket.
In a social media post, skipper Babar Azam expressed his gratitude towards Hussain Talat, saying, “Safi bhai, it was an honor to play under your leadership.” Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed was honored for his invaluable services to Pakistan cricket, and he was awarded an honorary shield as he retired from international cricket. Sarfaraz Ahmed played 54 Test matches, 117 One Day Internationals, and 61 Twenty20 Internationals for Pakistan.
