Operation Ghazab, Pakistan’s counter-terrorism operation against the Afghan Taliban regime, has resulted in significant losses for the terrorist organization. According to Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar, 641 Taliban members have been killed, and over 855 have been wounded in the retaliatory operation. The operation continues, and its objectives will be achieved.
The Minister revealed that 243 Taliban check posts have been destroyed, and 42 have been occupied and dismantled. Additionally, 219 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery guns have been destroyed. Attaullah Tarar stated that 65 terrorist hideouts and auxiliary locations in Afghanistan have been targeted through aerial operations.
Security sources reported that the Pakistani military has targeted Taliban posts 2 and 3 in the Zhob sector on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Following the robust military operation, the Taliban posts and arms were abandoned, and the terrorists fled.
Moreover, the security forces claimed to have seized Russian-made heavy grenade launchers from Taliban-held posts. The sources emphasized that Operation Ghazab will continue until its objectives are achieved.
