Pakistan’s former fast bowler, Muhammad Amir, has made a fresh prediction about India’s chances in the T20 World Cup 2026. In an interview with a private channel, Amir stated that from a cricketing perspective, India is not playing good cricket, and their fielding standards are poor. According to Amir, India has dropped at least 3-4 catches and made several mistakes on the field. Geo News correspondent, Ahmed Shehzad, also shared his views on the matter, saying that the fine of 50 lakh rupees imposed on players is too less and should be increased.
Amir further stated that except for Jasprit Bumrah, all Indian bowlers are leaking runs, and India is still not a strong contender in the tournament. He added that India is relying heavily on a single bowler, which is a clear weakness in their team.
