In a recent address at the Peshawar Press Club, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Anwar Khan Agha emphasized that the PTI founder’s health concerns are a matter of genuine concern rather than a subject for politics. He stated that the PTI founder’s health issue has been a peaceful protest, with the captors displaying a lack of sensitivity in this regard.
The chief minister clarified that they do not politicize the PTI founder’s health concerns, and if they did, it would result in a different behavior. He added that even the friend of the court acknowledged that the PTI founder’s eye issue is a genuine concern. Suhail Anwar Khan Agha further stated that they want a strong and free press to thrive, and they always welcome positive criticism from journalists.
He praised the Peshawar-based journalists, saying they stood by the truth and right even during difficult times. The chief minister emphasized that if they called for help, no one could stop them, and the federation owes them. He appealed to everyone to collectively lend their support in this challenging situation.
During his speech, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister announced a grant of 15 crore rupees for the Peshawar Press Club. Meanwhile, the federal minister for interior, Raja Pervez Ashraf, stated that Pakistan is a responsible state that always strives to maintain better relations with its neighbors. He added that the export of terrorism from Afghanistan has been ongoing for a long time.

PTI leader and former finance minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Ali Saif, stated that the government’s claims of improving the economy are baseless. He also stated that they have entered a crucial stage and now need to make a decision.
