The Punjab Council of Arts has closed all theaters across the province in respect of the holy month of Ramadan. In compliance with the orders of the provincial government, the Punjab Information and Culture Department has issued a notification announcing the closure of theaters across the province from the first of Ramadan.
According to the notification, all theaters will remain closed during the holy month of Ramadan to maintain public sanctity, and the Punjab Council of Arts has directed the temporary closure of theaters in compliance with this order. While film and drama theaters will remain closed for the public, other theater activities have also been restricted.
