Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi has been receiving threatening emails since Friday, demanding Rs 10 crore from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. After receiving the alleged threatening calls from the Bishnoi gang, the police have beefed up the actress’s security measures. Qureshi has alleged that she has been receiving emails threatening to kill her since Friday. The email sender, who introduced himself as Zeshan Akhtar, repeated the demand of Rs 10 crore and attached audio messages along with the emails.
The Mohali police have registered a case and started investigating the matter, while the police claimed that the threatening call was made from Chandigarh and is linked to an international gang network. It has been reported that Salman Khan’s sister-in-law, Ayesha Sharma, has also received a threatening email from the Bishnoi gang.
Interestingly, Zeshan Akhtar was earlier a prime suspect in the murder case of Baba Sidique. It is also reported that the Bishnoi gang has targeted several personalities from the film and music industry, including Ranveer Singh and music director Rohit Sheety.
