A shocking incident has come to light in Texas, USA, where a British citizen, Lucy Harrison, was fatally shot by her father, Chris Harrison, over a heated argument about Donald Trump. According to foreign media reports, the investigation recently revealed that Chris Harrison shot and killed his 23-year-old daughter Lucy on January 10 last year when the two were in a heated discussion about the then-US President Donald Trump.
Local police initially treated the case as an accidental killing, but a grand jury in Collin County refused to indict Chris Harrison, resulting in no criminal charges being filed against him. Lucy Harrison was killed four days before her wedding. The investigation into her death began at the Cheshire Coroner’s Court, where her boyfriend, Sam Littleton, testified that they had gone to the US for their holidays and were arguing about Trump on the morning of January 10.
Sam Littleton stated that during the argument, Lucy asked her father, “If I were in that girl’s place and someone had sex with me, how would you feel?” Chris Harrison replied, “I have two daughters, so it wouldn’t affect me that much.” Lucy became upset and left the room. The incident took place in the kitchen, where Chris Harrison grabbed his daughter’s hand and took her to his bedroom on the ground floor. Approximately 15 seconds later, a loud noise was heard.
Sam Littleton testified that he ran towards the room, where he saw Lucy lying on the floor near the bathroom door, while Chris Harrison was screaming and uttering nonsensical words. The court proceedings revealed that Lucy’s mother was present in the room at the time of the shooting and confirmed that Chris Harrison was the only person who could have fired the gun. The court is expected to announce its final verdict soon.
